Peachy Keen Challenge: Cookies for Santa

Hello my treasured friends!

I hope all the holiday decor is up, with the shopping almost done! It has been a week of crafting for me! Last night was a surprise party that I threw for my boyfriend. He is now a licensed Certified Automotive Technician, and I'm super duper proud of him! I'll post pics of everything once I can get the card back from him to take a picture ;)

Meanwhile, Christmas is a week away! You know what that means..it's time to leave out cookies for Santa! I should have added a glass of milk to the card but that totally slipped my mind, oops! Next time! :) Here's my entry for Peachy Keen's Designers' Choice Challenge and My Craft Spot's Challenge 37 - Christmas Shape Cards.

Trail of Treasures:
  • Card Base - 5.25 x 5.25", welded in my Gyspy in kraft with the shape from Lacy Labels
  • Layer - 5 x 5", patterned paper from DCWV Christmas Stack
  • Plate - From My Kitchen cartridge; if you do not own this cartridge, you can cut out one larger circle, and a smaller one. My "larger" circle is cut out in gold, while the smaller one is cut in silver
  • Gingerbread & Star Cookies - used the CottageCutz Gingerbread doll die for the gingerbread men, and used PK-520 Winter Faces Assortment for the cute patootie face. Added the bling with my iRock, and used my Gelly Roll Pen for the icing. The stars are cut from the Creative Memories Star Maker, and used Inkssentials White Enamel Accents and gold Stickles for the icing
During this Christmas season, make sure to give to those who are less fortunate. Everyone deserves a warm place to rest their hearts this season.

Until next time's treasures,

CTO Design Team Call! CTO Challenge 42: Christmas (No Green): Season's Magic

    Hello my treasured friends!

Phew! I've finally finished my papers and now it's time to study for exams. Boy, I sure cannot wait for the holidays, as I'm sure that goes for all of us! :) So, have you heard?! Celebrate the Occasion is having a design team call! I've had a BLAST designing projects for the wonderful ladies, and who doesn't need cards for all the occasions out there?! ;) I highly recommend you to give it a shot! :) So speakinng of Celebrate the Occasion, our challenge this week is to create a Christmas themed project with no green. Easy peasy right?! Here's what I created for this week:

Aren't these little penguins just the cutuest?! I don't know if you can tell, but I used Peachy Keen's Ice Crystal Glitter Paint to make my penguins "magical." Does the Pink By Design sentiment work perfectly? ;) Here's a close up of the adorable penguins!

It's really difficult to notice the glitter in the picture, but I assure you, it's definitely sparkly up close!

    Trail of Treasures:

I'll be back to updating my blog more often soon, I promise!! Make sure to head on over to Celebrate the Occasion to celebrate with us, and to find out how you can enter to be on the design team! Good luck everyone!

    Until next time's treasures,

CTO Challenge 40: Thanksgiving Themed Project With Buttons - Bountiful Blessings

    Hello my treasured friends!

Got a quick post for you all today! I've been super swamped with group papers, which I won't be done until next week. Then the holidays will kick off! Of course I'll still have finals to worry about as well though ;) I'll have to put off all my commenting until then, sorry!!

Before I get into my project for today, I just wanted to mention that Erica from Erica's Craft Room is having a seasonal design team call which I'll be part of! Each day beginning in December, her and the design team will be featuring 25 projects, all the way up till Christmas! That's right, that's a total of 625 projects with a theme for each day! There's still spots open if you're interested! You can get the information here.

Now for today's challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion, the challenge is to create a Thanksgiving themed project and incorporate buttons. Here in Canada we celebrated Thanksgiving last month, but I wanna wish all of my American friends a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you all are surrounded by your loved ones this Thanksgiving.

Here's a peek inside the card:

    Trail of Treasures:
    • Card Base - used Nestabilities scalloped circle, cut in kraft cardstock, embossed with the Cuttlebug Diamond Plate Embossing Folder, and added irock gems on each scallop
    • Layer - cut from DCWV Harvest Gathering Stack
    • Cute Indian Girl - cut at 2.5" from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge, used the Peachy Keen Simple Sallies Face Assortment, PK-531 for the face, added a button and feather, and some Orange Truffle Twine by Trendy Twine for the bows

Sending bountiful blessings to you this Thanksgiving season!

    Until next time's treasures,

CTO Challenge 38 - Lest We Forget

      Happy Tuesday my treasured friends!

It feels like ages since I've posted here, and quite honestly, I miss it a lot. With all the school work and injuring my hand at work, it has put off the crafting that I wanted to get done :(. Over at Celebrate the Occasion today, the Challenge is to create a project for Veteran's Day! Here in Canada, our "Veteran's Day" is called "Remembrance Day", which we celebrate on November 11. We all wear poppies over our heart to honour those who died for our country, and we have a moment of silence on the 11th day of the eleventh month, at the eleventh hour. How is Veteran's Day celebrated in America?

So in honour of Remembrance and Veteran's Day, I created this super simple card showcasing our poppies, and a common quote during Remembrance Day, Lest We Forget.

Super, super simple card for you all today. Gotta wait till my hand gets a little bit better before I can get crafting again, which is unfortunate.

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Card Base - 4.25 x 4.25" square card cut in kraft cardstock with stitching
      • Letters - Shimmer Alpha Making Memories Stickers
      • Twine - from my local scrapbooking store, and added a red poppy

As we all celebrate the importance of whether it be Veteran's or Remembrance Day, don't forget to thank all those soldiers who fought for the freedom of our country. No words could ever express our gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Also new and exciting, I just recently started up my own Facebook page. If you're on Facebook, make sure to pop on by to Tracey's Trail of Treasures, and say hi!

      Happy Veteran's Day everyone!

      Until next time's treasures,

For this week's project, I created a darling scarecrow couple in a pumpkin patch! I've been wanting to use the scarecrows from the Simply Charmed cartridge for quite some time now, and I thought it would be perfect for this week's challenge and Trendy Twine's Tuesday Challenge #2 to use twine in your project with a pumpkin.

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Card Base - 5.5 x 4.25" cut in kraft cardstock, distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo

To Somebunny Special - Happy Birthday Little Sis: PKS Sketch Challenge 63

      Hello my treasured friends!

This is for somebunny special on her 17th birthday -- my little sister! This year she'll be graduating from high-school, and I could not be more proud of her. Her party won't be until this Friday, during her long weekend. So little one, enjoy your day today cuz it is yours!

Our friends got her a bunny as a surprise birthday present. They were taking care of it for a month, before giving it to her about a week and a half ago. He's the cutest little thing ever! He's golden brown with white paws, and a white tummy. My sister adores him, and pretty much all of her gifts have been bunny themed to match the rabbit - his name is Radio because his ears are always uneven. So, to match Radio, I created my little sister a card that resembled her little bunny!

Isn't the bunny just the cutest?! I love it!! It's one of the great Peachy Keen dies! I loved that this card was cricut-less, cuz sometimes, it's just easier to create a card less the Cricut (only sometimes! ;) The Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge 63 was perfect for what I wanted to create. You can play along here. The sketch goes as follows:

Here's my sister's bunny Radio!! He's the smartest little bunny ever!

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Card Base - 4.5 x 4.5" square card cut out of Kraft cardstock, and added specialty twine for the bow
      • Card Layer - used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Label One (the largest one), patterned paper from DCWV Flower Shower 180 Stack, then cut a green layer as well, trimmed it down, and cut it to look like grass. For the fence, I used the Martha Stewart Picket Fence border punch
      • Bunny and Carrot - Peachy Keen Bunny Die, face stamped with PK 440 - Cute and Cuddly Face Assortment
      • Sentiment - from My Creative Time's Color Me Happy set - one of her very first releases! Used it with Tim Holtz Broken China Distress Ink

Once again, Happy Birthday Little Sis! <3

      Until next time's treasures,

      Throwback Thursday: Happy Halloween!

      Hello my treasured friends!

It's been a super busy week here, and there has been loads going on! I will update once I get a chance to! I just wanted to quickly post the card that I created for Emma over at My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge is to create a Halloween themed card with the card feature on any older cartridge. I attempted to create my first 'Spinner Card' with the Wild Card Cartridge, but I couldn't make it work with what I had so I had to make due. I'll know for next time! :) So here's how it came out!

Such a cutie little pumpkin!! Here's a look at the inside of the card:

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Card Base - pg. 51 Pinwheel Card cut at 5.5" in Kraft coloured cardstock, distressed around the edges with black ink
      • Card Layer - cut at 5.5" and trimmed down, used Authentique Glowing 6x6 Stack, wrapped Trendy Twine Orange Licorice twine, and tied a bow
      • Pumpkin - cut from the Pumpkin Carvings Cartridge at 2.5", used the Trick and Treats Disney Mickey Accessories Die and Embossing Folder Set for the witch hat - added Purple and Gold Stickles to it, and Inssentials Enamel Accents Dimensional faux enamel in black. Face is from PK-550 Pumpkin Faces Set
      • Sentiment - from My Creative Time's Mixed Holiday Sentiment Set

Emma's 11th Stamp Edition Release is THIS Friday!! Remember to spread the word and to visit her here.

As you can see, I through green and brown into the mix as well! Just make sure to include the red, black, and white as well!

Here's the sentiment inside the card:

      Wobble till you Gobble

      Happy Thanksgiving my Canadian friends!

Today and everyday we should be thankful for all those in our life - our family, friends, significant others, pets, etc. Don't forget to let all those around you know that you care for them, and live each moment as if it were your last.

It's been a super busy weekend here in our household, and unfortunately, I got called in to work last minute. My family friends and I have been keeping a huge secret from our sister -- her birthday is coming up in two weeks and she's been wanting a bunny forever. We finally gave her the bunny tonight, after a month of having it!

So here's to the gobble day! Let's gobble till we wobble!

To make him wobble, I added an action wobble:

And here's a look inside the card:

      Trail of Treasures:

Thank you all my treasured friends -- I value each and every one of you for all your comments. This is all worth it cuz of all of you.

      Simple Peachie Birthday Gift Bags

      Hello my treasured friends!

For the recent giveaway, please click here.

I hope that you all had a great weekend, and have had a great start to the week! This past weekend I had to wrap up some birthday goodies for my boyfriend's niece and nephew who both just had birthdays in the past two weeks. I was a little behind in this department, but I was able to get it all packaged up so I wanted to share with you these super cute AND simple birthday gift bags -- gotta love that!

I picked up these kraft colour giftbags at the dollar store (2 for $1), and thought that they'd be perfect to dress up for just about any holiday! You can check out what I did with them for Valentine's Day here.

Aren't they just adorable? They're so super easy to make! I basically just used punches, Peachy Keen stamps, doodled a bit, added ribbon and tissue paper, and voila! A basic gift bag! Of course you can dress up the gift bags any way you'd like - if you added a total of three squares across - each with a different Peachie face, that would be adorable too! I have so much in mind for these gift bags as I create some for the upcoming Christmas craft fair in November!

      Here are some close-ups:

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Creative Memories Square Maker - 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" squares
      • Creative Memories Heart Maker - 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" hearts
      • Creative Memories Star Maker - 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" stars

      • PK-640 Princess Face Assortment for Heart Face

      • Sukura 0.3mm Pen

I hope to see more do-it-yourself gift bags!

CTO Challenge 30: Tall Card with Present - Gifts Galore

      Hi everyone!

For the giveaway, please click here.

Welcome to another Celebrate the Occasion challenge! This week's challenge is to create a tall birthday themed card. In addition, it must also include a present. Ever since I came back from Vegas, I've been eager to create since I came back with a whole lot of goodies! My little nephew's birthday just recently past, and I never got a chance to make it before I left since I was swamped with things to do and events. So here it is! It will be off in the mailbox real soon since he lives in sunny San Diego :)

What a lucky boy he is! He received a mountain of gifts! ;)

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Card base - fits in a 3.25 by 6" envelope, cardstock from Recollections; I welded a circle and a rectangle together for my base shape from Plantin Schoolbook and stitched around the card
      • Patterned Paper - Making Memories foil star paper (got 50 sheets of it for $2.99 from Tuesday Morning!)
      • Boy - cut from Baby Steps cart, face from Peachy Keen Stamps PK-451 Wide Eyed Kids 1 1/8" and I added Crystal Accents to the eyes, and pink chalk for the blush on the cheeks
      • Gifts - cut from New Arrival, and Create a Critter carts and some embellished with Stickles (Lime and Stardust). Other gift packages are Jolee stickers - I do not enjoy using the Cricut to cut out gifts :(

VIDEO AND GIVEAWAY: Summer Holiday HAUL

      Hello my treasured friends!

Here is my haul video that I created for you guys! There's a ton of yummy crafting goodies in there, so take a look! Sorry that my voice is so quiet in the video -- my brother was sleeping in the room beside me so I had to keep my voice low, and I had sniffles from the weather difference :(. I also had to cut my video down a lot to keep it in YouTube's 15 minutes, so it is a little choppy -- so sorry! My next video will be better since I now know the ins and outs of video editing, and uploading..what a long process! My tripod that my boyfriend got me..that I didn't even get to use yet, broke..it was a tragedy so I gotta get that replaced so that I can film more videos! :)

Check it out and there is TREASURE (a giveaway) in the video!

Giveaway - You must be a follower to qualify for the giveaway, and leave a comment on this post with your name and contact information by Friday, September, 30th for the chance to win a pair of crafting tweezers AND the Cosmo Cricut Matilda 6x6 stack.

Good luck my treasured friends and I will see you back here tomorrow for another Celebrate the Occasion challenge!

      Until next time's treasures,

      Unlock the Imagination

      Hello my treasured friends!

Just a few updates tonight while I'm on the computer doing crafty related things! Just finished my projet for Tuesday's Celebrate the Occasion Challenge so you'll all have to come and join us for the fun! I'm in the process of editing my holiday haul for you guys, but I need to figure out how to make the music not as loud..that's what the boyfriend is for! Haha! Hopefully it will be done and uploaded by tomorrow! I'm still currently in the process of organizing everything cuz I keep adding to my ever so large craft collection...must stop...but will I ever? Is it even possible to stop? ;) I did however get around to finishing a few projects, so I'll post one tonight!

It's a tradition for my friend that whenever anyone turns 21, their parents give them a key to 'unlock their future paths.' I had never heard of this before and I was extremely intrigued! Her birthday has gone and past now, and it wasn't until after her birthday that I found key items - a beautiful key keychain and key cardstock that screamed her name. So I created this card just for her to accompany the keychain.

The card base is 5.25 x 4.5. Isn't that patterned paper stunning? It's from the DCWV Tradewinds Stack - a must-have for travelers!

Here's the inside of the card:

I just love how the card came together - it was super quick and simple (what I was going for) AND beautiful!!

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Card Base - 5.25 x 4.5, Recollections Kraft Cardstock
      • Patterned Paper - DCWV Tradewinds Stack
      • Sentiment - heat embossed with gold Martha Stewart embossing powder, and Pink by Design July Stamp of the Month - Believe in Yourself
      • Butterflies - butterflies on front punched with Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly punch out of gold foil paper; inside butterfly cut from Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge
And there you have it! We all need inspirational cards from time-to-time! :)

Now it's time for bed! Good night and sweet crafty dreams to you all!

      Until next time's treasures,

      Home Sweet Home!

      Hi everyone!

After a great trip to Vegas, and TONS of surprises, I am finally home. The trip was absolutely spectacular - the lights, Phantom, Downtown, hotels, food, people, everything! I landed on Friday, but worked the weekend and had special events to attend. It's been go, go, go, and now school starts tomorrow. I'm looking forward to a good night's rest after about a week of lack of sleep.

So enough about all that, onto some crafting stuff! On my trip I was able to pick up quite a few crafting items, and the weeks leading up and days after my trip I've been getting in lots of crafty retail therapy -- we can never get quite enough of that now can we? Here's a few pictures of the goodies I got and I intend to film a video for you guys cuz photos don't do enough justice!! The papers in the stacks are so beautiful! Enjoy!

So here's ten paper stacks I've accumulated in the past two weeks...haha, bad I know but I can't get enough of paper!!!

And here's the other miscellaneous items I purchased from Michaels, JoAnns, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, TJ Max, and a few items are from Canadian dollar stores. It's difficult to see, so a video is definitely needed!

And my boyfriend got me these two little guys from the McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. I fell in love with them the moment I spotted them. They're "Beanie Ballz" -- there was an adorable penguin one in the store as well!! These would be great for kids!

The bumblebee's back is striped, and the ladybug's back is spotted just the way they should be! :)

I'll be back real soon with a project! I've missed all of you, and I've missed crafting! Hopefully I'll find time with school and all!

      Until next time's treasures,

CTO Challenge 28: Birthday Sketch - If friends were flowers I'd pick you

      Hello my treasured friends!

Today I'll be heading down to Vegas so I'll try and pop in once I get a chance! Of course I had to leave you all with some crafty love before I left, so here's my take on the birthday sketch for Celebrate the Occasion.

So if friends were flowers, I'd pick you! I've seen so many people making flowers lately, so I wanted to give it a shot! I used four different sizes of Cuttlebug scalloped circle dies, and inked around the edges with the Tim Holtz Crushed Olive Distressing Ink. I then crumpled each of the shapes to give them some texture, and arranged the different sizes and used a mini brad to combine them together. I just recently ordered my Pink By Design Script Background Stamp, which was just what I needed for this sketch -- a perfect match indeed using the Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distressing Ink! I stamped "Happy Birthday" inside the card.

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Sentiment from Pink By Design Life's a Garden Sentiment Stamp Set
      • Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distressing Ink
      • Tim Holtz Crushed Olive Distressing Ink
      • Background Stamp: Pink By Design Script
      • Cuttlebug Scalloped Circle Dies
      • Brown Embossing Powder
      • Mini-Brads
      • Ribbon
Make sure to celebrate a birthday with us over at Celebrate the Occasion this week! Just head on over to view the sketch and join in on the fun! We all need to create a stash of birthday cards right? :)

      So until next time's treasures,

      Pengu Pengu!!

      Hi everyone!

I've been working on some Christmas tags for an upcoming craft fair this November. So I've been mass producing these adorable little penguins from the Peachy Keen Penguin Doll Dies. These are just the cutest!! I've been adding different accessories to these cuties, so I'll be posting some pictures once I finish them all. These penguins will be added to gift card holders, cards, and gift tags.

For this week's Peachy Keen LFIF Challenge it is to create a project using an animal as the main theme.

I used the smallest sized stamp from the new Winter Wonderland Face Assortment for my little penguin's face! Didn't it come out super adorably?? I just love it!! I LOVE this patterned paper -- I purchased it last year from a local scrapbook store and I'm sorry but I have no idea what company manufactures it! I wish I had purchased more than one sheet!! It has beautiful glitter on it!

      Trail of Treasures:
I just love how cute he turned out!! Make sure to join me back here on Tuesday for another Celebrate the Occasion challenge!

      Until next time's treasures,

A Birthday Fit for a Diva

      Hello my treasured friends!

It feels like forever since I've posted and I appologize for that! It has been a non-stop go for me since I finished exams..from birthday parties, school meetings, catching up with friends, and work, I've barely had any time to sit down and craft. Next week I'll be heading down to Vegas for my 21st birthday, so that gives me even less time to craft. I'll be squeezing in crafting time whenever I can from now until next week Tuesday.

Here's a birthday card that I created for my friend's birthday. She is definitely a diva, so this card is fit for her! :) I'll be entering this card into the following challenges:

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge 27 -- Create a Circle Shaped Card for any occasion
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge 74 - Create a Birthday Themed Project
      Paper Playtime - Anything Goes

      So here it is!

This card will fit into a 5 x 5 square envelope. I heat embossed the Peachy Keen large polka dot background with sparkly embossing powder to create my own patterned paper. I used the Punnylicious My Pink Stamper set to stamp the "hoppy birthday" but changed the o to an a so it could read "happy birthday."

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Card base cut from Smiley Cards exclusive Gypsy cartridge (you can find this cut on many other carts or weld circles together on your own)
      • Shoes cut from  Wall Decor & More cartridge
      • Scalloped shape cut from Gypsy Wanderings
      • Circle cut from Plantin Schoolbook
      • Martha Stewart Sugar Cube Embossing Powder
      • PK 100 Large Polka Dot
      • White Gelly Roll Pen
      • Crystal Accents
      • Heat Gun

CTO Challenge 26: Happy Birthday Fashionista!

Happy Tuesday crafters and welcome to another Celebrate the Occasion challenge!

For this week's challenge, create a birthday themed easel card. This is the first time I've ever created an easel card and let me tell you, it was super easy to do! I LOVE how it turned out and I think that there will be more easel cards in store for all of you! :) This week I decided to shift my focus from cute cards to elegant. I wanted to create a really girlie card, so that's exactly what I did -- a birthday card fit for a fashionista!

Isn't this so pretty?? I heat embossed the sentiment, popped up the birthday gift, and the sentiment. I also used my Tattered Angels glimmer mist to glimmer up the birthday bag - I cut out a rectangle, added some tissue paper, some floss, and stamped the sentiment. Here's another view:

I'm just loving the brown, black, pink, purple, and cream combination! Below is what I used for my card.

      Back 2 School

      Hello my treasured crafters!

My oh my! This past week has been a whirlwind! One exam done..two more to go! Thursday I'll be a free woman! :) So in the midst of studying, I was working on two projects. I'll be posting one today, and make sure to visit back on Tuesday - it's a good one! :)

So with all the back to school blog hops and challenges, I decided that I wanted to create a back to school project. Here in Canada, everyone doesn't go back to school until after the Labour Day holiday, which is usually sometime in September. So hearing that some kids in the States are heading back to school already is a bit bizarre to me. Nonetheless, no kids means more time to craft right?! :) Of course I don't have any kids yet, but I'm sure that I would have mixed feelings when I have to send my children back to school!

For my project, my inspiration came from the little ones. Whenever I think about back to school, I always picture the kids thrilled to go on the playground and they just throw their backpack on the ground and run for the slide or the swings! So that's exactly what I did!

I absolutely adore the Baby Steps cartridge. If you do not own this cart, you MUST get it. The images are SO cute and super easy to layer! I cut the 'sand' out of sand-paper. Neat eh? This is a 5 x 5 card base that I'll be entering into the following challenges:

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge 25 - Back to School
Peachy Keen Stamps LFIF - Shaped Card
Pink By Design Challenge 7 - Back to School Project

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Slide and backpack cut from Locker Talk Cartridge
      • Patterned paper from DCWV Grade School Stack
      • Seeing Spots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
      • Sign cut from Walk In My Garden Cart
      • Card shape cut from Create a Critter
      • Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink
      • Apple cut from Doodlecharms
      • Boy cut fom Baby Steps Cart
      • Face from PK-642 Boy Mates Face Assortment
      • Silver Foil Cardstock for Slide
      • White Gelly Roll
      • Crystal Accents
      • Sandpaper
      • Irock
All the best to all the little ones who did have to head back to school this past week! Make sure to tune back in on Tuesday for another Celebrate the Occasion challenge -- one that you do NOT want to miss! ;)

      Until next time's treasures,

Congratulations! I will be contacting you shortly Janeen!

Here's a sweet baby girl A2 sized card I made last December for a baby shower:

Here's a peak into the inside of the card and sentiment:

The sentiment is from a Fiskars stamp set. I no longer own the packaging and don't know the name of the stamp set -- sorry!

      Trail of Treasures:
      • Rattle, bottle, and diaper pins cut from the New Arrival cartridge

CTO Challenge 24: Surprise! A Brand New Bike For You!

      Hello everyone!

Thank you all for the sweet comments - I've hit 100 followers! Yay! With school and work it's definitely hard to manage my blog and to participate in challenges, but because of all of you and my passion for crafting, I'm still here! :) So moving on, happy Tuesday and welcome to Challenge 24 over at Celebrate the Occasion. For today's challenge, it is to create a birthday card for a child. Here's what I came up with:

Isn't this card so super sweet? The little boy is blind-folded for the uncover of his birthday gift - a brand new bike! I used some fabric to tape over his eyes for his 'blind-fold.' I also cut up some packaging ribbon and attached it to the bike for a 'bow,' to make it more birthday-like. This card will fit in a 3.5 x 6" envelope.

Here's what the cutie looks like underneath the blind-fold:

Surprise! I used Peachy Keens PK-642 Boy Mates Face Assortment for his adorable peachy face!

Here's a peak to the sentiment on the inside of the card. I used the Pink By Design Big Thoughts set for the 'Happy Bithday':

      Materials Used:
      • Card base - I used a tag from the Once Upon a Princess cart and welded it in my gypsy, then I copied the image and reduced the size a tad to get the layer
      • Patterned paper for layer from DCWV - All About Boys Stack
      • Tim Holtz Distressing Ink: Vintage Photo and Broken China
      • Ribbon cut from Formal Occasions Cartridge
      • PBD Small Banners set to spell out 'surprise'
      • Bike cut from Boys Will Be Boys Cart
      • Boy cut from Baby Steps Cartridge
      • Face from PK-642 Boy Mates Face Assortment
      • Pink By Design Big Thoughts Stamp Set
      • Glossy Accents for Bike
      • Gift Wrap Ribbon
      • Black Sukura Pen
      • Buttons
      • Fabric
      • Floss
Come along and join in on this challenge here! You have until Sunday, July, 7th at 11:59pm EST to play along with us! Have fun and good luck!

      Until next time's treasures,
      Tracey xox
