For today, I have a super simple card made in celebration for Earth Day on April 22nd! Join us this week over at <a href="http://www.kraftygirls.com/2012/04/we-want-to-thank-everyone-so-much-for.html">Krafty Girls</a> for a Planet Earth challenge! <br />
I have been swamped with group projects, and now I'm heading into exam time, but it was really nice sitting down this past weekend and working on a crafty project! This is really how I celebrate my down time and it definitely helps me relax. If only I had more time to craft and blog - oh, the life of a student.<br />
<br />
Moving on to a higher note, this week we're back with another <a href="http://www.kraftygirls.com/">Krafty Girls' Challenge</a>! This week's challenge is to create an <b>Easter project</b>. Since I just received my <a href="http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/catalog/Cutting_Dies-128-1.html">Peachy Keen Dies</a> in the mail, I was DYING to play with them!! I got perfect spring dies - the <a href="http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/products/CottageCutz_Potted_Flower_4x4_Peachy_Keen_Design-431-128.html">Potted Flower</a> and <a href="http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/products/CC_PK4x6_005_Shower_Peepers-860-128.html">Shower Peepers</a>. These were perfect for the challenge, and keeping this week's <a href="http://www.peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.ca/2012/03/peachy-challenge-10-just-cards-faux.html">Peachy Keen Challenge - Faux Stitching</a> in mind, I created an 8 x 8 Easter/Spring layout.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhacQjOL8i3N3XVoWHFE2lxc_36aeX0skMFbNe5Wk47oNsirzzT49YV75Bhj2T3L-Yh2BeAaMrHezIkageh8zxcpptWMDrd44PLdOzCHofOfTFrxMM5PYVyE1_xBFPllK07qCqhtIAJeOJA/s1600/Chickadee+Layout.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhacQjOL8i3N3XVoWHFE2lxc_36aeX0skMFbNe5Wk47oNsirzzT49YV75Bhj2T3L-Yh2BeAaMrHezIkageh8zxcpptWMDrd44PLdOzCHofOfTFrxMM5PYVyE1_xBFPllK07qCqhtIAJeOJA/s400/Chickadee+Layout.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
Isn't the lil' chicadee just too adorable?? I added the eggs from another <a href="http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/products/CC_PK4_x_4_020_Duck_and_Egg_Die-620-128.html">Peachy Keen Die - the egg and duck die</a>. The sentiment suited my layout just perfectly!<br />
<br />
Here's a close-up of my adorable peachies!!<br />

<br />
It's been a crazy week for me here with group projects and all! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! As many of you know, my Gypsy is sick, and Provocraft still doesn't know what's wrong with her! My Cuttlebug has now become my new best friend, haha! This week over at <a href="http://www.kraftygirls.com/">Krafty Girls</a>, we're creating our own flowers for a card, scrapbook layout, 3D item, or home decor piece. I decided to do something different, and outside of the "papercrafting" realm - I was inspired by Lauren over at <a href="http://laurenscreative.com/">Lauren's Creative</a> to make a wreath. She made this adorable Valentine's wreath which you can see <a href="http://laurenscreative.blogspot.com/2012/01/valentines-wreath.html">here</a>! I decided to make a spring wreath and decided to start off a lot smaller. It turned out so adorable so I definitely will have to invest in more flower dies in the future! It's gonna be a long post today - I've included a picture tutorial on how to create the mini flowers!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF_4zo8fmuP3jghh7WrVhf3fLYurv8AW_a6trxgVcrG2N3FVwOa9f25jF1IMXEsw4RTMVKSVzdLAbceS-LiK4j_hPMAs_A9oYwB2n8OtoJda0ZprzBPAl2ROX2tpzW52MQ4ieUWNSua82T/s1600/Spring+Wreath+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF_4zo8fmuP3jghh7WrVhf3fLYurv8AW_a6trxgVcrG2N3FVwOa9f25jF1IMXEsw4RTMVKSVzdLAbceS-LiK4j_hPMAs_A9oYwB2n8OtoJda0ZprzBPAl2ROX2tpzW52MQ4ieUWNSua82T/s400/Spring+Wreath+(2).JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Here's a picture of the supplies I used for this wreath:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeSjftgYmhyphenhyphenc1JPeeuvupDb0hjzqd1hwitjteraOkmd6CDVsnbSO8LSaHhQ2jRUhhaDbjmBNSeP-ka2xx2n1AF5BakAPO4xZCAQAR14d9RfMKTkcGBM6j5XI4YLMwB-1jtgncqr8kTD5lL/s1600/Wreath+Materials.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeSjftgYmhyphenhyphenc1JPeeuvupDb0hjzqd1hwitjteraOkmd6CDVsnbSO8LSaHhQ2jRUhhaDbjmBNSeP-ka2xx2n1AF5BakAPO4xZCAQAR14d9RfMKTkcGBM6j5XI4YLMwB-1jtgncqr8kTD5lL/s400/Wreath+Materials.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
Instead of a straw wreath, I used a twig wreath - neither of these wreaths at Michaels had plastic coverings - that way it's a lot easier to wrap the yarn! I'll have to check Joann's the next time I head down to the States - gotta get my passport renewed! The butterflies and bud pieces I picked up from my local dollar stores and I decided to use some blue tulle instead of the purple one. All the flowers out of felt - those rolled teal and raspberry flowers I used <a href="http://www.myheartisyoursblog.com/2011/08/scalloped-and-rolled-felt-flower.html">this tutorial</a>. For the light pink and white blossoms, this is what I did using <a href="http://shop.my-creative-time.com/Scallop-Stitched-Circle-Die-MCT-D03.htm">My Creative Time's Scallop & Stitched Circle Die</a> - just another way you can use her fabulous die! :)<br />
<ul><li>Firstly, use your <b>Cuttlebug</b> or any other die cutting machine to cut out the scallop shape in felt.</li>
</ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMJkIqIJBYQW1bxH5Hv8PIqvgibpHN0Un0XepqtEWzKuZ8n0h2hlEex0PxENzXjRHsHIcvLTAzDpssg3QuZUTH1sUbqfE6sc7zqucUcAZaG5OvQTqXUmuaUFTPQ81OOjoTO7MpNSQoF8Pv/s1600/CIMG0148.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMJkIqIJBYQW1bxH5Hv8PIqvgibpHN0Un0XepqtEWzKuZ8n0h2hlEex0PxENzXjRHsHIcvLTAzDpssg3QuZUTH1sUbqfE6sc7zqucUcAZaG5OvQTqXUmuaUFTPQ81OOjoTO7MpNSQoF8Pv/s200/CIMG0148.JPG" width="200" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><ul><li>Fold the scallop in half.</li>

<br />
I hope your weekend has been off to a great start! I actually wanted to have this layout done by yesterday, but of course, things never go as planned, lol. I was SO excited to see that Emma over at <a href="http://www.creativetimeforme.com/">My Creative Time</a> is having a Cricut-less challenge! I usually dread these challenges, but since my Gypsy has been sick for so long, I have gotten by with creating cricut-less projects, or using the Cricut as minimal as possible. Make sure to join in on the fun to have a chance at winner her entire stamp release!!<br />
<br />
I'm super behind with my scrapbooking, so my goal is to make scrapbook pages for challenges wherever possible, haha. So here's what I created using only my Cuttlebug and punches for last year's Easter.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd0CAhcBYoj7ouXSvTjbAF_W7gBep4NTL0siDAuj-2_EmCnPgnd2i2B8XfX90OmpNFfsZzckPQXTLTVAk3gaRpCpKc4hE33ukpQ_zrstvn2jn-cIU0gLPyUmbxyQavhY830_tSNDaHmtV5/s1600/Hunny+Bunny+Layout+(3).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd0CAhcBYoj7ouXSvTjbAF_W7gBep4NTL0siDAuj-2_EmCnPgnd2i2B8XfX90OmpNFfsZzckPQXTLTVAk3gaRpCpKc4hE33ukpQ_zrstvn2jn-cIU0gLPyUmbxyQavhY830_tSNDaHmtV5/s400/Hunny+Bunny+Layout+(3).JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />

</div><div>Hello my treasured friends!</div><div><br />
</div><div>I have a quick card to share with you today! School has eased a little bit since the beginning of the stressful week, so yay! We're mid way through the week, and that means that the weekend is almost here! :) Here's a card that I created for a friend's birthday - he loves history, travelling, and collecting gems. I tell him that he shouldn't be in the business field, and that he should be a historian instead haha. If only we could all pursue what we were truly passionate about huh? Life is short, so do what makes you happy! :) </div><div><br />

<br />
I've been super busy this week at school, and speaking of which, today I have a midterm so wish me luck! Welcome to another <a href="http://www.kraftygirls.com/">Krafty Girls Challenge</a>! For this week's challenge, it is to create a card, scrapbook layout, 3D item, or home decor project with a St. Patrick's Theme, hence the, "feelin' lucky?" Haha. Well my Gypsy is still down, and I feel super lost without it, so I created a super simple card with a cartridge from last year's spring collection cartridge, the <b>Cricut Spring Holiday Cards cartridge. </b>I'll be linking this project up to <a href="http://www.pinkcricut.com/2012/02/link-party-4/">Pink Cricut's Link Up Party</a> and entering it over at <a href="http://especiallymade.blogspot.com/p/weekly-challenge.html">Made Especially For You's Stitching Challenge</a>, <a href="http://dianamlarson.blogspot.com/2012/02/february-23-2012thursday-dlart-thankful.html">DL Art's Thankful Thursday Challenge</a> - anything goes, <a href="http://littlescrappieces.blogspot.com/2012/02/winner-and-new-challenge-use-green.html">Little Scrap Pieces' Green Challenge</a>, and the <a href="http://pinkbydesignstamps.com/2012/02/29/kiss-me-im-irish-pink-by-design-blog-hop/#.T06-BfEgdmk">Pink By Design Kiss Me I'm Irish Blog Hop Challenge</a>.<br />

It was here that we hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics, and last summer our hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks made it to the semi-finals during the NHL Playoffs. <br />
First and foremost, Happy New Year to you all! I have missed you all greatly, and it feels great to finally get back into crafting and blogging! During the holidays, I lost my creative mojo, then got it back, but my room was a huge mess so I couldn't craft. Then I was thinking about my crafting, and I really figured out that due to my hectic school schedule, and the amount of my own crafting projects that I need to get done, I should focus on those things, and hence, not apply for any design teams. I will however, be participating in the challenges going around that I see fit with a project that I'm working on, etc. By doing so, this will really help contribute to my New Years resolutions, and I hope that you all are working towards yours as well!<br />
<br />
So let's kick off the year right! I created this adorable chickie card for a dear friend of mine. Her birthday was last week, and she absolutely adores chickens, chicks, and anything of the sort, so this one is for you my friend! :) Peachy Keen is having a linky party, which you can participate as well <a href="http://networkedblogs.com/sEVTB">here</a>. I'll also be entering this into <a href="http://www.celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">Celebrate the Occasion's</a> challenge, to create a child's birthday card, and into <a href="http://www.birthdaysundaes.blogspot.com/">Birthday Sundae's Challenge</a> to create a birthday card. This card will fit right in, and you can play along as well <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/2012/01/challenge-45.html">here</a>. So are we ready?? Here it is!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE8DcpbYUlo43VPaiUndPCklat3U7jywkhmJnEj-1AdpXZuYDCf_lTvXIxK4b5uCvyjSMYOr64ztXCfwJ8SA6u1wEeM6kJ2EOIQJ3AdTuWxnpfQuJE1Cu1otcltSBRXMpwjXjYLo6ufp4n/s1600/Chick+Card+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE8DcpbYUlo43VPaiUndPCklat3U7jywkhmJnEj-1AdpXZuYDCf_lTvXIxK4b5uCvyjSMYOr64ztXCfwJ8SA6u1wEeM6kJ2EOIQJ3AdTuWxnpfQuJE1Cu1otcltSBRXMpwjXjYLo6ufp4n/s400/Chick+Card+%25282%2529.JPG" width="300" /></a></div> <br />
Isn't she just the cutest?? My friend loves chicks and the colour purple, so my <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/82150428/purple-lilac-white-bakers-twine-lavender">Trendy Twine's Grape Fizz</a> was the perfect addition! Here's the list of treasures!<br />

<br />
I hope all the holiday decor is up, with the shopping almost done! It has been a week of crafting for me! Last night was a surprise party that I threw for my boyfriend. He is now a licensed Certified Automotive Technician, and I'm super duper proud of him! I'll post pics of everything once I can get the card back from him to take a picture ;)<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, Christmas is a week away! You know what that means..it's time to leave out cookies for Santa! I should have added a glass of milk to the card but that totally slipped my mind, oops! Next time! :) Here's my entry for <a href="http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/12/peachy-keen-stamps-sketch-challenge-67.html">Peachy Keen's Designers' Choice Challenge</a> and <a href="http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/2011/12/monday-challenge-37-christmas-shape.html">My Craft Spot's Challenge 37 - Christmas Shape Cards</a>. <br />

CTO Challenge 42: Christmas (No Green): Season's MagicHello my treasured friends!<br />
<br />
Phew! I've finally finished my papers and now it's time to study for exams. Boy, I sure cannot wait for the holidays, as I'm sure that goes for all of us! :) So, have you heard?! <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">Celebrate the Occasion</a> is having a design team call! I've had a BLAST designing projects for the wonderful ladies, and who doesn't need cards for all the occasions out there?! ;) I highly recommend you to give it a shot! :) So speakinng of <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">Celebrate the Occasion</a>, our challenge this week is to create a Christmas themed project with no green. Easy peasy right?! Here's what I created for this week:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkvvgD_EG3gQVza-yolk4YaqDqIQUJKUi7KR4HjNV8M5jJvTrV-cbK93gFj2-9Vil7zjA7RxtJGM8OJOGkwAd-mxi1zuTTceL7O4XD670RqkHA81STnM1Ag1d_EGBHR6PM6QnSh0N8WQt3/s1600/Season%2527s+Magic+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkvvgD_EG3gQVza-yolk4YaqDqIQUJKUi7KR4HjNV8M5jJvTrV-cbK93gFj2-9Vil7zjA7RxtJGM8OJOGkwAd-mxi1zuTTceL7O4XD670RqkHA81STnM1Ag1d_EGBHR6PM6QnSh0N8WQt3/s400/Season%2527s+Magic+%25281%2529.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Aren't these little penguins just the cutuest?! I don't know if you can tell, but I used <a href="http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/products/Glitter_Paint_Ice_Crystal-473-131.html">Peachy Keen's Ice Crystal Glitter Paint</a> to make my penguins "magical." Does the Pink By Design sentiment work perfectly? ;) Here's a close up of the adorable penguins!<br />
<br />

It's really difficult to notice the glitter in the picture, but I assure you, it's definitely sparkly up close!<br />

<br />
Got a quick post for you all today! I've been super swamped with group papers, which I won't be done until next week. Then the holidays will kick off! Of course I'll still have finals to worry about as well though ;) I'll have to put off all my commenting until then, sorry!!<br />
<br />
Before I get into my project for today, I just wanted to mention that <a href="http://www.ericascraftroom.com/CricutCraftRoom.html">Erica from Erica's Craft Room</a> is having a seasonal design team call which I'll be part of! Each day beginning in December, her and the design team will be featuring 25 projects, all the way up till Christmas! That's right, that's a total of 625 projects with a theme for each day! There's still spots open if you're interested! You can get the information <a href="http://25daysdesignteam.blogspot.com/2011/11/seasonal-design-team-call_10.html">here</a>. <br />
<br />
Now for today's challenge over at <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">Celebrate the Occasion</a>, the challenge is to create a Thanksgiving themed project and incorporate buttons. Here in Canada we celebrated Thanksgiving last month, but I wanna wish all of my American friends a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you all are surrounded by your loved ones this Thanksgiving.<br />

<br />
It feels like ages since I've posted here, and quite honestly, I miss it a lot. With all the school work and injuring my hand at work, it has put off the crafting that I wanted to get done :(. Over at <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">Celebrate the Occasion</a> today, the Challenge is to create a project for Veteran's Day! Here in Canada, our "Veteran's Day" is called "Remembrance Day", which we celebrate on November 11. We all wear poppies over our heart to honour those who died for our country, and we have a moment of silence on the 11th day of the eleventh month, at the eleventh hour. How is Veteran's Day celebrated in America?<br />
<br />
So in honour of Remembrance and Veteran's Day, I created this super simple card showcasing our poppies, and a common quote during Remembrance Day, <i>Lest We Forget</i>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF4x31tsva2vnW4aJT9XxAkEIt1M_4nTGgRtbSCz1IigbJGTE4lPPt56TupVNhrms-kvRIwi10J6r8b7SH0cuAENE8vEyZ1x5BZJmNc2Aad47UgvCaWD-3CM0pExv3UyfIZu2oTWp0gZFw/s1600/Lest+we+Forget.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF4x31tsva2vnW4aJT9XxAkEIt1M_4nTGgRtbSCz1IigbJGTE4lPPt56TupVNhrms-kvRIwi10J6r8b7SH0cuAENE8vEyZ1x5BZJmNc2Aad47UgvCaWD-3CM0pExv3UyfIZu2oTWp0gZFw/s400/Lest+we+Forget.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
Super, super simple card for you all today. Gotta wait till my hand gets a little bit better before I can get crafting again, which is unfortunate.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Trail of Treasures:</b></u><br />
<ul><li><i>Card Base</i> - 4.25 x 4.25" square card cut in kraft cardstock with stitching</li>
<li> <i>Letters</i> - Shimmer Alpha <b>Making Memories</b> Stickers</li>
<li><i>Twine</i> - from my local scrapbooking store, and added a red poppy</li>
</ul><br />
As we all celebrate the importance of whether it be Veteran's or Remembrance Day, don't forget to thank all those soldiers who fought for the freedom of our country. No words could ever express our gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.<br />
<br />
Also new and exciting, I just recently started up my own Facebook page. If you're on Facebook, make sure to pop on by to <b>Tracey's Trail of Treasures</b>, and say hi! <br />
<br />
Happy Veteran's Day everyone!<br />

<br />
Today over at <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">Celebrate the Occasion</a>, we're celebrating autumn by creating fall themed projects. Make sure to join us, get inspiration from the amazing design team, and celebrate along with us!<br />
<br />
For this week's project, I created a darling scarecrow couple in a pumpkin patch! I've been wanting to use the scarecrows from the <b>Simply Charmed</b> cartridge for quite some time now, and I thought it would be perfect for this week's challenge and <a href="http://trendytwine.blogspot.com/2011/10/trendy-twine-tuesday-challenge-2.html">Trendy Twine's Tuesday Challenge #2</a> to use twine in your project with a pumpkin. <br />

<br />
This is for somebunny special on her 17th birthday -- my little sister! This year she'll be graduating from high-school, and I could not be more proud of her. Her party won't be until this Friday, during her long weekend. So little one, enjoy your day today cuz it is yours! <br />
<br />
Our friends got her a bunny as a surprise birthday present. They were taking care of it for a month, before giving it to her about a week and a half ago. He's the cutest little thing ever! He's golden brown with white paws, and a white tummy. My sister adores him, and pretty much all of her gifts have been bunny themed to match the rabbit - his name is Radio because his ears are always uneven. So, to match Radio, I created my little sister a card that resembled her little bunny!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQUh9xQpRNS-ogFqTD2W6oGqqbiU9K37J1xPB3o3IwPNP0yfDF8Nd3zpX97tw48x2eF6kRAvM5-rf9EcD3hBFLHrb5otG52UfeLLe1_tCZ4dtsa60hFwxp7_o9b1TBMM2RQ88bRi-cgJC7/s1600/Somebunny+Special+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQUh9xQpRNS-ogFqTD2W6oGqqbiU9K37J1xPB3o3IwPNP0yfDF8Nd3zpX97tw48x2eF6kRAvM5-rf9EcD3hBFLHrb5otG52UfeLLe1_tCZ4dtsa60hFwxp7_o9b1TBMM2RQ88bRi-cgJC7/s400/Somebunny+Special+%25282%2529.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Isn't the bunny just the cutest?! I love it!! It's one of the great <b>Peachy Keen dies</b>! I loved that this card was cricut-less, cuz sometimes, it's just easier to create a card less the Cricut (only sometimes! ;) The <a href="http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/10/peachy-keen-stamps-sketch-challenge-63.html">Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge 63</a> was perfect for what I wanted to create. You can play along <a href="http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/10/peachy-keen-stamps-sketch-challenge-63.html">here</a>. The sketch goes as follows:<br />
<br />

<br />
It's been a super busy week here, and there has been loads going on! I will update once I get a chance to! I just wanted to quickly post the card that I created for Emma over at <a href="http://www.creativetimeforme.com/2011/10/throwback-thursday-challenge-episode.html">My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge</a> is to create a Halloween themed card with the card feature on any older cartridge. I attempted to create my first 'Spinner Card' with the <b>Wild Card Cartridge</b>, but I couldn't make it work with what I had so I had to make due. I'll know for next time! :) So here's how it came out!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8YZLTtd0EtSuJqN8yYQfVMY1J79hhrMaSygINLZ7YssHIGbApKqvcO2fihXIqTeY1BByVTERIaux2U71fofyN4WjPsqDFwR4mlv4KtOOQjKRRPH4BNBATcsSq7Z1nsfDfqM7oatzUnalS/s1600/Pumpkin+Spinner.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8YZLTtd0EtSuJqN8yYQfVMY1J79hhrMaSygINLZ7YssHIGbApKqvcO2fihXIqTeY1BByVTERIaux2U71fofyN4WjPsqDFwR4mlv4KtOOQjKRRPH4BNBATcsSq7Z1nsfDfqM7oatzUnalS/s400/Pumpkin+Spinner.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />

<br />
Welcome to another <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">Celebrate the Occasion Challenge</a>! Today's challenge is to create a project for any occasion of your choice, but you must include the following colours: <b>red</b>, <b>black</b>, and <b>white</b>. Here is my card for this week's challenge - since Christmas and my craft fair is right around the corner, I thought it would be wise to get started on the Christmas cards!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpr2T9MgVErV52WVOPZsaMy7wfcwNLNz15OsBMKPHx4wAZ-UpZJRk6tPTf8i-PDFru2FV4ecH1Tgw8VeMTtTASqv2tHY83U2WpfxMVpwuWWzvH7yi1nRuy5wrRpIqtVV3w1Mmc-Tn2u-V2/s1600/White+Christmas+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpr2T9MgVErV52WVOPZsaMy7wfcwNLNz15OsBMKPHx4wAZ-UpZJRk6tPTf8i-PDFru2FV4ecH1Tgw8VeMTtTASqv2tHY83U2WpfxMVpwuWWzvH7yi1nRuy5wrRpIqtVV3w1Mmc-Tn2u-V2/s400/White+Christmas+%25282%2529.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />
As you can see, I through green and brown into the mix as well! Just make sure to include the red, black, and white as well! <br />
<br />
Here's the sentiment inside the card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ2dGrkw9aZcF-kmFqvV6FTm1sAE_dZjU95mq6O0eeyJM5-HSXINVyGs5RHohuisK9xcaqyUyriMxY-HHG-w0waJ2NQ47rTtXdsGp5xaQ8xY3p3RfftHMocQEtajdvkWdaEldYmVxFkaBf/s1600/White+Christmas+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ2dGrkw9aZcF-kmFqvV6FTm1sAE_dZjU95mq6O0eeyJM5-HSXINVyGs5RHohuisK9xcaqyUyriMxY-HHG-w0waJ2NQ47rTtXdsGp5xaQ8xY3p3RfftHMocQEtajdvkWdaEldYmVxFkaBf/s400/White+Christmas+%25281%2529.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
Oh how I yearn for a white Christmas! Last year was the first year in at least five years that we had a white Christmas! I hope the same goes for this year as well!<br />
<br />

<br />
Today and everyday we should be thankful for all those in our life - our family, friends, significant others, pets, etc. Don't forget to let all those around you know that you care for them, and live each moment as if it were your last.<br />
<br />
It's been a super busy weekend here in our household, and unfortunately, I got called in to work last minute. My family friends and I have been keeping a huge secret from our sister -- her birthday is coming up in two weeks and she's been wanting a bunny forever. We finally gave her the bunny tonight, after a month of having it! <br />
<br />
So here's to the gobble day! Let's gobble till we wobble!<br />
<br />

<br />
Two posts in one night - woot! That's a new record for me! I told you I had lots of crafy endeavors in the near future! Haha. Well, here in Canada we have a long weekend since Thanksgiving is this coming Monday, so be on the lookout for a thanksgiving project on Monday! Here's a card that I created for my friend's birthday - she loves cows, and we just celebrated with her last night. We definitely partied till the cows came home! Haha ;)<br />
<br />
I will be entering this card into <a href="http://www.cardsbyjovan.com/2011/10/its-my-birthday.html">Jovan's Birthday link-up</a>. She's working on a new scrap room so make sure to head on over to see it, and maybe you'll pick up a few organizing tips!<br />

<div class="MsoNormal"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNoSpacing">It has been a week since I’ve posted, and I’ve definitely missed you all! October is a super busy month for me, and boy oh boy, I sure do have a lot of crafty projects to complete! In honour of<b> Breast Cancer Awareness month</b>, I had to create something. Breast Cancer has touched the lives of many. I truly believe that with everyone’s support, we can conquer cancer and find a cure! The <b>CIBC Run for A Cure</b> happened the first weekend of October, and I never had the chance to finish the project. I was so busy with work and school. </div><div class="MsoNoSpacing"><br />
