Parcels of Love

So today is Guest Designer Day over at pinkcricut.com! Please do make sure to view the original post on Sarah's blog! : ) I'm super thrilled to share a project with you, showcasing Sarah's phenomenal line of Pink By Design Stamps! Sarah was the one who gave me the final push to start a blog, so welcome everyone!

The project for you today was for my Valentine. I decided to wrap his gifts, and decorate the packaging to coordinate with the card that I had made him -- I made the card back in December during my break between semesters since I knew that during the school semester I would, unfortunately, not have the time to do much crafting. :( The card is what I submitted for Sarah's Pink By Design Team Call. The gift wrapping is pretty simple and I had to keep it simple cuz it was a super hectic week for me at school!

Let's begin! Sarah's stamps are extremely versatile - I used them for a card and tags for today's post but of course they can be used for a number of different projects.

For my first project, a gift bag:

 And here's a close-up:

 Recipe:
  • Pink By Design "Be Mine" stamp set
  • Opposites Attract Cricut Cartridge for the letters
  • Creative Memories heart punch
  • Large Kraft colour gift bag
  • White sakura gelly roll pen
  • Versamark Dazzle: Champagne colour
  • Twine I got from Precious Memories in Langley

Moving on to my actual parcels! For both parcels I made tags. Here is parcel number one:

Recipe:
  • Pink By Design "Love Always" stamp set
  • Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge
  • White sakura gelly roll pen
  • Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip ink pad
  • Heart-shaped eyelet
  • Red elastic cord
And last but not least, the final parcel of love:

Recipe:
  • Pink By Design "Love Always" stamp set
  • Provo Craft die
  • White sakura gelly roll pen
  • Martha Stewart twine (I do NOT recommend this twine!! I usually love Martha Stewart Products but this is not one of them! The quality is horrible!! I highly recommend to purchase the Cherry twine from Sarah instead! : )
Here is a look of all three packages put together:

And like I promised, here is a picture of the card I put together for my Valentine. I pulled out the colours in the card to coordinate it with the packaging! : )

I hope everyone enjoyed the projects for today and enjoyed your Valentine's Day! Tune in for videos on the way soon!

Join me next time in the search for more treasures! :)
